Andruzzi and Connolly were still UDFA. As was Stephen Neal, Brandon Gorin and Ryan Wendell.

Andruzzi and Connolly weren't Patriots' UDFA. These two free agent signings by the Patriots. BB didn't discover these 2 like the OP inferred.

We will keep that in mind when we have $102 million in cap space next year instead of $100 million.
It’s more about this year my dude. They’ll only have about $8M in space after signing their draft picks. Adding $2M lets them scoop up some veterans that get cut after the draft.

Strange DID have games where he was very good and he also struggled in others. That's the kind of thing a rookie does. Hopefully he grows from year one to year two.

That’s right. Good reason not to move him then.

Pats WR draft picks since 2000 to present.

T. Thornton. Rd. 2. #50. 2022
T. Nixon. Rd. 7. #242 2021
N. Harry. Rd. 1. #32. 2019
B. Berrios Rd. 6. #210. 2018
M. Mitchell. Rd. 4. #112. 2016
D. Lucien. Rd. 7 #225. 2016
J. Gallon. Rd. 7. #240. 2014
A. Dobson. Rd. 2. #59. 2013
J. Ebert. Rd. 7. #235. 2012
T. Price. Rd. 3. #90. 2010
B. Tate. Rd. 3. #88. 2009
J. Edelman. Rd. 7. #232. 2009
M. Slater. Rd. 5. #153. 2008
C Jackson. Rd. 2. #36. 2006
P. K. Sam. Rd. 5. #164. 2004
B. Johnson. Rd. 2. #45. 2003
D. Branch. Rd. 2. #65. 2002
D. Givens. Rd. 7. #253. 2002

All if you concerned about thePats taking a WR, take a look at the last 22 years of their WR choices. School is still out on Thornton. The Pats got lucky with Edelman in 2009 and chose well with Branch and luck in Givens in 2002.

This is a veritable wasteland of WR choices. Slater we all get as a great ST’er. Mitchell showed some promise but got hurt. So don’t get upset about the no WR selections….odds are very high the Pats/Bill would have chosen crap anyway. I think we all knew this but seeing them together just highlights the WR drafting ineptitude. Yeah…I’m all in on work a trade or free agent.

Does anyone have concern that all these guards are coming in because they don't feel great about Strange?

Yeah your right kickers are more important than tackles you dope
Well yeah, in a vacuum we would all rather have an All Pro OT than an All Pro Kicker. Of course.

Given our need for a kicker, I would much rather have the best or 2nd best K in this draft than the 35th best OT.

They had "depth" last year. Mac got killed. You should know, you had faith in the Patricia offense more than anyone. What happened?
No. They didn't have depth at OT last year. They had to go out and get 2 guys off the street in Cannon and McDermott.

BTW, you're full of s**t. I took a wait and see attitude in Patricia. Typical asshat who relies on lying about people to try and look smart.

everybody also has experience at other positions.

That’s right. Good reason not to move him then.
the issues came from Patricia/Yates not being able to communicate the Zone blocking schemes properly.

Hopefully Klemm can earn his big paycheck and do some work with all of these prospects.
No excuses for the OL lol. I really don't want to hear about tackle anymore either. Bill and co thinks we're good. I hope he's right! Not being sarcastic here. We had a clear need at tackle and the powers that be thought otherwise so I hope they're right.

And I understand the process is far from over. Trades, cuts, I get it. We'll see.

It’s different. That’s why Mac helped BOB get up to speed on Sarkisian’s offense before he left.
Everybody uses different terminology, the offense will still be based on Earnhardt Perkins.

So how many interior lineman are we going to keep on the roster this season? Both Andrews, Onwenu, Strange, Mafi, Sow, Russey, Hines. That is 8 players for 3 spots? I am sure you can probably put one or two on the practice squad but in theory all the guys we have taken so far today would have to make the team.
IIRC one or two of the IOL picks today have recent injury history. That may be indicating they’ll be redshirted if not fully ready to answer the gun.
Well that solves all our problems. They'll be injured so they'll be on IR anyways lol.
good troll. Wonder how they’ll all fit on the roster, get a good answer, move the goalposts.

at least now you've made the chances of constructive conversation with you absolutely clear.

Agree to disagree then. They need someone. Could have been jones could have been freeman or whoever. Its great they have 7 or 8 interior options but none of them can really play tackle. Did this with Wynn for years and we saw the results.

That’s right. Good reason not to move him then.
Or he would have had a better season if he was at LT instead with Wynn at LG...but we will never know.

3 starters, 3 backups, 1 cut, 1 practice squad

I'm not. You sat here and had a **** attitude about anyone who would dare question the Patricia offense before the season started. Take off your blinders. But cool to see you admit about your wait and see approach about a defensive coach who has never even called an offensive snap though.

Btw: tackle game plan worked stellar last year

Lol a good answer is "theyre injured so they'll end up on IR"? You and I have different definitions of "good".

Who were you responding to? I only saw your own quote in your response.

Worth remembering taking a kicker that can start allows them to release Folk and save $2M on the cap.
Who are we going to spend that 2m on at this point? You can't sign any starter level player for 2m. Free agency is pretty much over, there's only scraps left out there. I'm also pretty skeptical BB is going to cut a veteran that hit on 85% of his kicks last year. It just feels like a waste of a 4th round pick.

You don't know wtf you're talking about. I took a wait and see attitude. You're the one who need to take the blinders off.
