FA is still young. We have 19mil. If we could come out with something like this It'd be great:
CB Aqib Talib
CB Antoine Cason
S Bernard Pollard
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey
I just can't get that bad preseason play by him out of my head. It makes me uncomfortable with him going into the season as our starting RT.
No reed for pats..on to the next one
I agree with your positive thoughts. There is still plenty of time left, and we have a nice amount of money remaining.
I would have to think that it's much more than "19 million" though? How are you calculating that number, not that it matters all that much?
Incarcerated Bob broke this news before Shefter. Maybe there's some truth to the Revis trade rumor after all.
Greg A. Bedard ?@GregABedard
The Jets have not heard from the Patriots on Revis. FYI
Would you rather over spend on all of these FAs and not make the playoffs..or play it smart and be there in the end...unreal
Please...stop
Trouble is the Patriots are focusing too much on Talib. If they wait too
long, all the decent cornerbacks will be gone. They should at least re-sign Arrington to fill one spot.
At WR, the word is Lloyd will be cut. Who replaces him. At least
re-sign Edleman, to cover their butt.

EDIT: I suppose that could be in range, if you are assuming the rookie signings. I don't care to do that because we don't technically need the money at the moment, but we should always assume about 3 million or so for the rookies, as they can add another 1 million before the draft--and likely will.
Llyod can free up an additional 2.5 million if that goes down before Saturday's deadline.
yay Steve Gregory

25-4 (amendola)-1 (washington)-1 (Hooman)=19?
I'd have to say that's pretty spot on.
I forgot about Hooman's tender, since I'm assuming/hoping that he ends up replaced. Amendola's should be in the 3-4 million range.
Free agent Greg Jennings is dining with Vikings brass on Thursday evening, including coach Leslie Frazier and GM Rick Spielman.
Even Jared Allen is in attendance as the Vikings "clearly (try) to make a strong impression," according to reporter Tom Pelissero. In other words, it's more than a tire kicking as the Vikes try to sell the market's top remaining wideout on Minnesota. A deal isn't expected Thursday night. Pelissero spoke with an NFL executive who "could see" Jennings bringing home a two- or three-year deal worth between $7-$8 million annually.
Bennett to the seahawks... Ugh, I wanted him for the Pats.

What about the Fanene money?
