I'd say it's a bit of both. What's more pressing is the Seattle match up is going to be tough for the Patriots.

I live in Seattle, trust me when I say their fans are not awesome. Seattle is one of the most least passionate sports cities around. They still hate the Steeler's for 2006 and can't move on! Haha.

Having watched that travesty I cannot blame them

I'd say it's a bit of both. What's more pressing is the Seattle match up is going to be tough for the Patriots.

Too bad they flipped home/away for nfc west(not making excuses lol). Wouldn't be that worried about these guys in Gillette seahawks have been pretty bad in recent years on the east coast.
