Official "GRONKED!" thread

I love that all-white gloves look he has.

who came up with the mickey mouse hands reference? lmao. Zolak's always talkin about Gronk's mickey hands

I don't know who to compare him with, friggin phenom. he just takes over the field carrying multiple defenders into the endzone.

hey -- somebody tell me I'm seeing things on this state page.

Rob Gronkowski Stats - New England Patriots - ESPN

Says Gronk has caught 52 passes for first downs, 13 for TDs and a total of 65 (all before today of course). SO all his catches have been for first downs or TDs? Is that right?

In goal to go situations, if he gets a td, it also counts as 1st downs.

Really? Bit suprising; thanks. Still, not bad. Guy makes his catches count.

Food for thought: The only players with more points scored than GRONK (96) are RB LeSean McCoy, and a bunch of kickers.

GRONK by himself would also be in 30th place among NFL teams in touchdowns scored, with more TD's than the Jaguars and Rams.

GRONK is also now just four yards shy of being in a three-way tie for 2nd place for total receiving yards amongst ALL receivers—and just 251 shy of 1st place (and a certain undersized receiver who we might like a little bit around these parts).

So Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith may stretch the field; GRONK can just catch the ball and level the field as he rolls forward. :rocker:

Meh, Shannon Sharpe has spoken. Gronk can not do as much as Jimmy Grahem...

Never mind Gronks record second year..

If Gronk stays healthy we're looking at a HOF player. What's so cool about Gronk is that he's an actual, genuine, real life TE who can stay on the line and block effectively all game long. Far too many so called TE's in the NFL are simply bulked up WR's. Gronk is the real deal.

This is what all the people who say Graham is a better tight end forget about. As BB says, GRONK's perfectly happy cleaning someone's clock as he is hauling in a touchdown pass. Most of the TE's-as-big-WR's can't say that.

Actually, people who say that simply do not know football. Not only is Gronk a better receiver than Graham, he is an excellent blocker as well. No one is stupid enough to call Graham a decent blocker, nevermind excellent. Gronk is easily the best TE in the league. If he stays healthy, he will be unanimously considered the best of all time.

We need a picture of Gronk tebowing after one of his touchdowns this week. Yes, I said plural. Touchdowns. Brian Dawkins is gonna be in for a long afternoon.

Like to see a version of that tune "we will rock you
"we will ... we will ... Gronk you"

with some good lyics.

Pass it out on game day and when Gronk gets a TD
They play the song and the crowd comes in with

"We WILL... WE WILL .... GRONK YOU"

He had the 2 best Gronks of his Career so far and when he Lights up the Tebows and Gronk spikes the ball everyone will stop talking about tebow and relize the Gronk is the one to follow

Reed Doughty and DeJon Gomes, you have been Gronked.

Deangelo Hall gets honorable mention for watching most of the play.

Is Gronk even human?

Gomes apparently wasn't satisfied with one Gronking.

GRONK toying with safeties

What amazes me most is that once the defender finally manages to hit GRONK, sheer momentum gets him another 15 yards before he finally hits the ground.

And now you can have your very own GRONK.

Warning: It's lifesize (6'6"), and may be too terrifying for smaller defenders.
