THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Crap. Really wish we could have held them scoreless. Too bad we couldn't have gotten a field goal off Brissett's second possession. I'm having flashbacks to 06 AFC championship game with this score.

Yeah because the 2016 Dolphins feature a Hall of Fame QB throwing to two Hall of Fame WRs and arguably the best receiving TE in the league.

Good job D. Feeling good going into the half. Brisset needs to settle down he's throwing wayyyy to hard when he doesn't have to. I think he can keep us rolling and win this game. The coaches prepare them for **** like this.

Brissett hit him right in the hands twice. Edelman's chemistry between eyes and hands appears to be the only thing off.
Hard catches to make when the ball is coming in entirely too fast on those types of routes. Edelman is lucky Brissett didn't break his fingers.

even if he plays thursday, the arm strength won't be good

Don't know what Brissett needs to do, but he needs to calm down and be himself..

I just hate that now this is a game because of Jimmy going down. If he doesn't get hurt, we're likely up 31-0, pretty much game over. Now it's 24-3, and they have a shot only because it doesn't look like we will be moving the ball much on offense for the rest of the game.

Me too considering they are my fantasy D and I'm getting nothing from anyone else...

Wonder who the Pats are calling to put on the Practice squad.. Wouldn't be surprised to see a WR cut from there.

They need to move the ball with brissett. I feel so bad for jimmy. He need's to work on getting stronger in the offseason.

He's not a f—ing twig. He's 6'2" and 225# versus Brady's 6'4" and 225#.

He does but he is also a rookie being thrown into the fray. There's plenty of game left and the kid will have to throw the ball some. We shall see.

Game over, Partricia blew it. Can't give up points to win in this league.

For an elite prototypical NFL QB, that's not very tall. Brady's 6'4"; Peyton 6'5"; Cam 6'6".

Really, height?

Let's see then:

Aaron Rodgers 6'2 225.
Russell Wilson 5'11 206.
Drew Brees 6'0 209.
Tyrod Taylor 6'1 217.

And that's just from this top 10 ranked list.
Jimmy is just fine in terms of size. 6'2 226.
What really matters is what he brings on the field. And he was doing great until he got hurt.

Time for the halftime Thursday Night Football preview.

It will look like a Houston Texans intrasquad scrimmage

Thanks

brissett will be just fine

I'm thinking collarbone. I'm no doctor though. He was in a lot of pain, man.

Yep, it looked very bad, he is a tough guy, so it had to be a serious injury for him to keep dropping down.

This is one of the reasons it's best to drop down and give up on a play when you are these many points instead of risking a season ending injury.
Honestly here are NE we have been spoiled with Brady all these years injury free other than the 08 season.
