Well the thing about Jimmy is he's not that big of a guy. Brady can stand up to big hits and big guys landing on him but Jimmy is a mobile guy with a smaller frame so the threat of injury seems a little higher.
Can't blame them for being a little down at the moment. They were clearly all rallying around Jimmy. Seeing him hurt like that knocks the wind out of the sails for a bit. They'll regroup at halftime.
Watch it again. He dragged him down by his shoulder pads and drove him into the ground. The angle he as at he could have wrapped him up, the ball was gone.
