I’ll be upset for a while about the whole 2nd half of the season until draft time, I’ll get over it, but changes must occur, the whole offense must be revamped because we were not competitive at all.
Bad teams gave us fits all season long simply because our offense couldn’t stay consistent.
Red zone offense has been a huge concern. We were ranked 24 or 26th.
Every team has all kinds of fans ... not sure why I would compare myself.
Teams and Leagues make a lot of money from the bandwagon / pink hat variety ...
I was born in the 90s so all my football memories have been memorable thanks to the Patriots. Win or lose I will always stand by this team. After all we are all posting in a football forum other than the trolls I think it's safe to say everyone here is a diehard fan
Rousing the Board Homer crew to rain down pee pee on those of us who have the gall to question great Zeus himself, BB, and his poor drafting and personnel moves which have caught up to us. Paging Quantum Methhead, RobWeathers, andyJ... et al. Here we goooo, lets wash those BB balls after this disaster.

of course we can question moves of the team - Belichick can't draft a receiver early to save his life but hes still the greatest coach and im still a lifetime fan but some wont be when they start to suck record wise...thus my point

we are all upset, not just in here but all over the world of pats nation - but most of us will wake in the morning and look forward to the draft and the very interesting offseason ahead for the team while some will certainly move on to other teams when Brady retires or goes elsewhere - thats a bandwagon fan - I was never a direct fan of Brady but a fan of the team he worked for
I’ll admit that I expect Brady will be back with the Pats next season, but regardless, BB is a very good coach in his own right; the Patriots will be fine with of without Brady. And likewise, Brady will be fine with or without the Patriots/BB.
Why? When did fandom become nothing but emotional slavery? If you're a fan of a team that sucks, and isn't doing what it takes to get better, why should anyone have a problem if some fans don't want to saddle themselves with that?
Who are you to effectively tell some poor bastard that, since he's chosen the Jets, he has to stay a Jets fan for life?
People worry too much about the ending or not ending of the dinasty. This is a media thing.
We have been eliminated from the 2019 season and are on to 2020, that’s all that matters. Its great to have 20 years of dominance, but there was a 10 year gap in the middle, I see more like there was 2 dinasties, on te early 2000s and this last one, and anyway, I celebrated every SB independently from the others.
I've been a Pats Fan since 1975 and seen it all with this team and will remain a fan til I croak. But I give 75% of the credit to the dynasty years to Brady, not Belichick. I think he sucks as a GM and we have won Super Bowls despite him, not because of him. The 1st dynasty was built on the back of a Bill Parcells team and Brady and the 2nd dynasty was due mostly to Tom Brady and a couple of lottery winner lower round draft picks. I think BB is very good at coaching up defenses but offense, yeesh. He's a damn good coach but quite fallible and I don't think hes the GOAT of coaches. I am annoyed he's running Brady out of town and put together this clusterf offense this year. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
The only thing this loss is showing is it's revealing the fans that actually watch football and understand and the one's that are emotional and don't have much of an aptitude beyond the bubble of being a Patriots fan.
I think most people with a clue realized that this team had serious offensive issues for quite awhile (at least since the first Buffalo game) and that there's a reason we were trading for a WR midway through this season. I also think most people knew that barring some out of nowhere type of freak run, this was not going to be a team that contended for the SB. It's Brady and Belichick, so you give them the benefit of that outside shot.
But realistically, this game was more frustrating than dissapointing. They did kind of what we expected. The defense held the Titans to 14. They got gashed on the run sure, but they stopped the play action. They did what they ultimately needed. The offense couldn't score when they needed to and pissed away a turnover and a redzone trip. If it didn't happen tonight, it happens next week or vs the Ravens. This team performed about where it was.
No need to get emotional or to start screaming the end is nigh. They have area's they needed to improve. This team was in this exact same position in the early part of this decade. They need to make some moves in the off season. We will see.
I'd never root for my team to fall off of its spot as the best team in the league but at the same time I've been trying to find the silver lining in this grey cloud and shedding all the bandwagon fans and not being constantly under the microscope will be just that.
I'm so ****ing over a regular season game against my team being every other team's SB.
If brady plays elsewhere i will root for him no matter what just not against us. The GOAT deserves to go on his terms. Just interesting to see how many teams would like up for a one or two year deal with him.

You do realize that Belichick drafted Brady and then gave him the starting job when the “franchise” QB returned from injury?
If it weren’t for Belichick, you wouldn’t even know who Brady is because he probably never would have gotten a shot and instead would be selling insurance with his Dad.

It’s one of the most forgettable patriots team ever. If they had a competent offense who knows what they could have done. Gilmore had a great bounce back game.
