THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

Two perfect McCown throws to Kerley is the reason they're up 14-0. Defense has been iffy but McCown has been literally perfect on those two throws. I don't even think Butler was in that bad of position.

We can still win this game.

But even if we do that does nothing to change the fact that this defense is fatally flawed.

No secondary is gonna hold up when the front 7 is that bad. Amazing how each play is more atracious than the last. Good luck fixing that defense bill.

Haha this is hilarious at this point

Looks like the Saints did the right move by not trading for Gutler.

Or defense really is as bad as the rankings. We're pathetic. This legitimately might be the worst defense in NFL history.
It is definitely the worst I've seen in the Belichick era. Yes that includes 2009/2011.

Maybe getting blown out by the Jets is the wake up call they need... I am trying to find something positive to say....

This team doesn't need a wake-up call. Defense is complete and utter garbage. It can't be fixed.

As of today 2017 Patriots are a mediocre/average football team with a historically bad defense, sorry to break the facts to everyone.

Not much to even say at this point about defense. Most of the personnel hasn't changed. So I can't understand why they are playing this drastically bad. Makes no sense to me.

I guess we cannot blame Gilmore anymore for the poor play of the secondary. His replacement hasn't even been thrown on other than one or two passes. Yet, players are getting beat and are out of position.

Sure not having Gilmore or Rowe definitely hurts, but there is an issue here even if the Pats were at full strength.
