Really don't think I was wrong when I posted this week that this defense is not only injury depleted, but it was talent depleted BEFORE the injuries.

I mean, who are we missing? Van Noy, Branch and Hightower?

We have no decent backups for these 3?

We're picking up guys off the street this year and starting them. We've really bled so much talent, and it is showing.

and this included that huge play

not worried about D that much yet, but would like to be able to hold bills running a big more

I honestly am ok with Butler going at the $$ he wants. Always grateful for the Seahawks pick but this year he has been an above average CB which doesn’t equate to #1 money IMO. Now I also hate what we paid Gilmore but it’s done.

Figure a way to stop McCoy and they are ****ed. Taylor is a terrible passer.

Maybe against most teams but any horrible quarterback can put a 300 yards against this defense.

Steelers or the Ravens, hell even the Jags can eliminate the Pats this year. This Pats team isn’t that good, and they sure as hell are inferior to the better NFC teams

Well not much but it does make you think this team could be ripe for an upset in the playoffs if they don't correct these things.

Look man, I get what you’re saying, panic and all. But on a serious note, this Defense is really not that good. The offense is really having to carry the load this year. Anything is possible as long as the Oline stays up. Manning and the Colts did it I guess.

Butler got beat on the long play, but the thing that is starting to make me that Butler has somewhat checked out was his lack of effort on the McCoy 4 yd run around the end the next play.

I found it interesting that in the sights and sounds section of the Patriot all access segment, when McCourty was giving his pregame speech to the DB's I noticed Butler looked disinterested and barely joined the group in the breakdown.
