Your going to pick out one play all day where the line gave Brady time. Seriously? Yes, the line was great on that play. But that's it. One play. Sans Thuney, they've been bad.

How do you figure Michel has low confidence? It was a good play by Dunlap. The ball in his knees is more on Brady than Michel..

Revis was the best corner and arguably best defensive player in the league for a few years. Law was never the best corner in the league (hell, there were times he wasn't the best corner in the division), he was just very good for a long time.

Overpays are only overpays if the player isn't good. If he is good, within a couple years the player's quickly a bargain. The nature of NFL inflation.

Yeah, to be clear I never had a problem with the signing, for pretty much that exact reason. But some people did and their opinions at the time were at least based in some kind of reason

Gilmore plays pure man coverage too. He’s Revis with quicker reflexes, longer build, and longer arms. I followed both closely and nothing against Revis who is one of the best ever. Gilmore is better though. He rarely gets thrown at but still racks up INTs.

Yeah, I get Gilly plays man coverage, too. That's where he makes the majority of his plays - he's exceptional in man coverage, much like Revis.

I'd just have a hard time putting anyone above Revis in terms of bump-and-run man coverage, but I'm not saying there's much (if any) of a gap there. Man coverage aside, Gilly is a bit more well-rounded IMO.
