I kind of agree, but at the same time, the first half of his "chance" this half has him throwing the ball directly to the defense for no reason in the red zone yet again. How much do we really need to see that?
If you ask me I give him the rest of the season to figure it out I'm not panicking week 9 or 10 and yanking him for a rookie who might be looking at the same situation when he hits year 2 as well
Maybe Belichick should have hired guys that could coach offense this year. Patricia and Judge are not those guys. Fat Matt can't coach o-line to save his life.
This fan base is going to have a tough time during this rebuild. They're the type of crew that wants to win every game even if we end up winning 6-8 games. Lottery picks don't = success but middling around being mediocre is the worst thing you can do.
I have no idea what he was looking at either but it would’ve been nice for CBS to actually show a replay of the throw, perhaps instead of showing Mr. Clean screaming on the sideline. we apparently aren’t going to see a replay of any holding calls either.
This might be a good thing as Mac was never gonna be a SB type QB IMO. Instead of having a just above average QB (Tannehill) for the next 10+ years, maybe it's good we see this now so we can start looking for a new QB and not waste any years. We weren't winning many divisions or any SB with Jones.
He sucks man, I know it hurts to accept that but he’s a bum. I like him he seems like a good dude but he can’t play at an NFL level. It happens, decorated college qbs don’t always pan out at the next level.
