The pocket is very clearly collapsing. All one needs to do is stare at the picture for a few seconds. My God almighty.

That is your opinion that was what Jones could see. From that picture, it looks like a typical Patriots blocking strategy of the defender directing the rusher beyond the pocket. Which is what probably would have happened if Cannon didn’t disengage the rusher.
