Putting in Cole Strange signified that they were actually trying on this drive, and unsurprisingly, they score an easy TD. Every drive on which they've actually tried today, they've moved the ball with ease on this defense.
Can't expect them to give all out effort on every drive in a meaningless preseason game like this one, but everything I've seen today when they've actually tried just confirms my prediction that this is a special team.
Also, Mac Jones is the GOAT. He is an absolute assassin on 3rd down. I've never seen anything like it.
It isn’t showing on the scoreboard, but the Pats have been the better team thus far today. It all comes down to three plays that is the difference here.
Thoughts on that drive. That 4th and 1 play call was horrible. Even if the deep shot wasn't intended. Also that score was more bad D than good offense. When you fall and can roll into the end zone you don't get a ton of credit in my book.

Whatever we did to own that corner of the field in the red zone, if it's replicable, do it again. That's a damn impressive display of something. I guess it could be Miami incompetence that cannot recur.
