The first couple D series will tell a lot. There is no excuse for them to perform appreciably worse than the KC defense did.

If they do then so be it and that will be what it will be.

Strongly disagree with what you are saying. First few series on O and D will not be particularly telling. Not with the way our coaching team usually adjust to what the opponent shows in-game.
