what are you? a Pittsburgh Apologist?

and if you walk over someone to show them up, is that not unsportsmanlike? But yet no call

*ROFLMAO* Damn.. You can't stand being wrong can you?

1st and foremost, The Pitt DB was already over Houshmandzadeh at the end of the play. The Pitt DB was trying to get over him.

2ndly, that play was significantly different that Tory James hitting Randel-El after El had stepped out of bounds.

The fact that you can't see the difference says volumes about you.

That was very dumb. But I like Polamalu, he reminds me of a young Harrison. He really flies around on the field, but off the field he seems like a total class act.
Now if you want to talk about jerks, Joey Porter takes the cake. He's the classic case of 'talking the talk without walking the walk'.

Allright, ill cool it with the Palomalu name calling. he seems like a nice guy off the field. And yes i cant stand Joey Porter. He definitely cannot back up the smack he talks on the field

There will never be a funnier story than Joey Porter beating a rookie in a pass rushing drill this year during training camp and injuring his knee doing his stupid boot celebration. It actually tops the Gramatica.

Ok, i just TIVO'd the play and there were 2 Pitt DBs near TJ during that play. The first one pushed him down and the second, Hope is his last name, started walking over him after he had landed after the play. He was not already over TJ like you claimed.

Ha, I was just about to post that. That's got to be one of the dumbest celebrations ever. Don't they call it the 'Soccer Kick' or something?

17-14 Bengals. Squeelers answer with a Hines Ward TD on that #34 who was getting beat throughout that drive

Patskers -
You still haven't shown how the two situations are related. But, if you believe you have, then so be it. No sense in talking with someone who just picks things out of thin air and says that they are related.

I guess that's why he's 141-82-1 as a head coach and has had 11 winning seasons vs. 3 losing ones. Not to mention he's fielded a top-10 defence in all but 4 of his coaching years. Yeah, he's developmentally delayed alright.

And absolutely no jewelry to show for it. Regular season means squat in the NFL if you cannot win in the playoffs. He can't. He piled up a lot of those winning seasons at the expense of a weak division too, including a team that hadn't sniffed a playoff in 10 years - dubbed the Bungles. And it shows when Cowher gets to the one and done portion of the season. Always arrogant, always making excuses and faces, but his teams seem ill prepared and don't deliver in the clutch.

Just based on what has transpired in the first half, Marvin Lewis should have shared coach of the year honors with Lovie, or finished at least the close second. The AP chose instead to give the sympathy vote to Dungy. I don't think Jim Sorgi and the Colts put up this kind of fight if Peymeaton gets knocked out on the second play of a game.

Steelers showing some life on Offense now if their D can quit screwing up. The Bengals are playing on emotion - will be interesting to see if they can maintain it game long - especially once they get the word on Palmer at half time. I doubt they can maintain it on the road next week.

Im saying that if you going to call the penalty on Cincy, you better call the same crap on Pitt. Unsportsmanlike, Personal Foul, they both result in 15 yrds and a first down. Pitt should have been flagged as well.

Good game so far. Kitna has been pretty impressive.

Marvin Lewis says Palmer "not good".

good first half. this could go down to the wire.

8-9 is not that bad for the playoffs. He's obviously no Belichick at 10-1 or Lombardi at 10-2. But he's no Schottenheimer (5-12) either. Dungy (5-7), Vermeil (6-5), Shula (19-17), and Holmgren (9-8) all have comparable records and I would consider them all solid HC.

Anyway, anybody who's interested, here's the website I got the info from. It's a pretty nice resource.

They mentioned torn ligaments in Palmer's knee. Not yet confirmed.

Yeah, not good.

Palmer said he thinks he has a couple torn ligaments in the knee.

If he is right then he will be lucky if he plays at all next season. A huge loss for the Bengals.

Reports say Palmer has 2 torn ligaments. He's done until late in 2006 or possibly into the 2007 season... Not a good thing.

Nice link OPF...thanks

Cowher still $ucks though...the Shot-in-the-head-heimer coaching tree...look it up....pretty good regular seasons/disastrous post seasons....all of them right on down the line

What's good for the Bengals is that Kitna seems to be a MORE than capable QB. Their defense seems a bit suspect, that's what they really need to worry about now.

Nice reverse on the KO return!

Nice run by Johnson... 18 yards.

So what do you think. Catch or no Catch?
