That's the game.

Yup.

Now the Palmer injury can make everyone go "What if." A really sad way to end a very good season for the Bengals.

Denver have nothing to worry us ; stop Bell and they are just an ordinary team

I remember some jerk earlier saying "It looks like Indy".

Oops- that was me.

NUT, you acknowledged it was very early.

It looked good for a while there, but it just all unravelled for Cincy.

No no, your right it looks like Indy, you just called it a week too soon

That was a brutal trick play

Four games. Three home teams (all division winners) upset by wild card visitors.

One division winner holds their home-field advantage.
Remarkable.

Well, for what it's worth I think this is the outcome that BB anticipated and played for in the Miami game. Not meaning any disrespect to Denver, of course, but I won't mind too much if Pitt and the Colts beat each other up a bit next week.

I've always wondered how the Steelers offensive staff looks at situations like 3 and goal from the 2, their big power backs, their big O-line and decides:

Let's run a misdirection reverse pitch to Slash/Randle-el who then throws to the TE for a TD.

Once in a great while they work as it did earlier but they run them all the time and much more often than not they are a disaster.

All they had to do there was a regular old play fake to Bettis, pass to the TE and they have an easy TD.

Not recessarily....depends on how much rust the Stillers knock off Peymeaton and whether they start at his knees.....

I think Pitt beats the Colts and we see them at the Razor.

I know, one game at a time.

okay--that was high comedy--the music to which they just did the Marvin Lewis afro retrospective...:bricks:

Okay, one thing I've pulled away from this game is Willie Parker is totally over-rated. Has this guy done anything against good teams? His only 100 yard games came against TEN,CIN, HOU, CLE and DET. Not exactly stellar run defences. And where the hell is Duce Staley? Pittsburgh could be in deep crap if Bettis retires.
