I don’t know, but I’d easily take my chances with two 45-50 yard passes from there instead of some risky tactic to try to get one 30-35 yarder. I was surprised they didn’t just chuck it up there…SF stupidly gave it to them.

Yeah I am pretty certain it was a designed play. I don't have any idea WHY they ran it, they didn't gain many yards and would've only been left with time for 1 play if they did get the spike off. But I do feel pretty confident it was a designed call.

Not on the refs. Apparently, the ref has to spot the ball and by the time he made it past all the bodies the clock had expired. Dak should have handed him the ball.

The whole scenario with stopping the clock for the measurement and the review gave Dallas an extra 6-7 seconds, possibly more.

The Cowboys really should have told the ref to be ready to use his his NFL licenced time and space bending box so he could simply warp reality to be past Dak and the Dallas offensive line instead of needing to push them around to get through so he could get to the ball faster. I can't believe the ref was so unprepared on that. Bush league. Should redo the game.

On a side note, so glad this happened so we aren't the only travesty this week. Dallas pissing their pants is probably going to be the biggest story next week.

Second side note, Jerry Jones building the dumbest stadium in the NFL cost his team a drive. I've said for years that stupid window blinds teams in Dallas and it's ****ing horrendous and I'm glad Jerry was able to come out of his coffin today to watch his team get sabotaged by his billion dollar toy.
