I feel like it's weird that they're even running it so much in a preseason game. The gameplan doesn't make much sense to me. How are you developing any of your players just running QB runs over and over?

More for the O-linemen than for the RB's. I think the game plan is more to evaluate players than to win a game. Add that the team is determined to be a better running team, and I think all that explains it.

I think he was talking about the Colts and their designed runs for Richardson. Your broader point stands though, likely more for them to evaluate their OL than anything.

Think folks are a bit hard on Lomu. It's his first NFL action of his life, playing in a position he's not really familiar with, against a team that does have a solid DL. He's about where one would expect. If he was at LT he probably would've had an easier time, but they want to develop him at RT, and will take the bumps in the road.
