Think folks are a bit hard on Lomu. It's his first NFL action of his life,

That's fair but he is a first rounder we traded up for. I'm absolutely not writing him off and i'm one of the more patient when it comes to draft picks but he wasn't all that good. I'm absolutely hoping we get improvement which I'm sure we will.

I think the McCourty brothers plus Hoyer are giving good commentary; i’m learning stuff from them.

And as a play by play guy, it seems like Zolak chose not to be drunk, which helps. Probably the best preseason announcing crew overall we’ve had in a long tome, IMO.

Those idiot announcers are atrocious. They spend more time ball washing garbage than they do focusing on the team play.

Williams has elite speed and release as well as good hands imo. He’s just a bit passive and unpolished right now. If he can really improve on fighting for the ball and positioning and being more crafty/intentional at the top of his routes the sky is the limit. Huge potential

We have to remember that this is the first real live action for every player out there.

As to Devito, he's been very up and down with his accuracy. But even on his bad throws, I feel like he is making the right read on those throws. It's more physical errors than mental ones. Those are the easiest to fix Too bad 3 of his best plays came when there were penalties to overturn them. Let's see how he does next week and have his accuracy improve

The penalty against Chism was BS.

The OL was mixed. Pretty good protection, but they rarely moved anyone off the ball on those outside zone runs. Occasionally, there were some decent runs, but in today's preseason the coordination necessary to create some kind of OL/RB co-ordination will take some time, probably into September before we see what this running game can possibly be. For now, all we can do is look for incremental improvement game to game.
