I do think he is worse than those three. I don't think they are anything other than backups and I don't see him even at that level.
You could convince me Tavai 2 years ago is a backup.

Gibbens and Elliss simply can't play the position at an NFL level. I'm sure they're fine special teamers.

I can only write the book from what I see. People change, sure I could wrong. Daniels looks like he will spend his career injured. We will see if Williams shows signs of maturity it the next few years. I doubt it. As I said, Williams is fun to watch because he is an amazing talent, but I doubt he ever harnesses that talent.

Posters on the Internet sites are wrong from time to time.
They are, me included.
That said I think Williams will end being a top 5 guy.

There was a receiver on the left side that did get open, but Mapu didn't pull the trigger. It *might* have been a first down if it was an accurate throw.

I feel like Baringer was trailing the play as a pitch man, not so he'd run, but so he could punt...weird Mapu didn't pull that trigger either.

I actually kinda love the play design, but dear god, not Mapu as the trigger guy.
Actually, I thought the guy on the left was double covered and a certain interception.

I love the talent too. Williams might be Top 10, but he will never win anything meaningful. To win a Super Bowl a QB has to play well 3 or 4 games in a row against the top teams. Can't see Williams doing that.

Maye is a great kid. I would ignore the "yeah but crowd". There will always be cranky old guys that complain.
Hey, don't put that on us cranky old guys. It's the newbie entitled crowd. Old guys have lived through more up and downs and take nothing for granted.

Yes!!!! Perfect description. Also if you put the statistics up defensively we are right up there with Denver and Houston.. and those teams have the names on defense.

It's just so dam gratifying to have them back in the playoffs.. and I'll say this.. the number 1 overall seed is realistically in play.. after losing last week..they have to be pissed seeing Buffalo struggle to beat the browns.. a defensive that Drake dropped what 30 plus points on..
If Quinshon Judkins doesn’t get injured it is quite possible the Bills lose.

Unlike some others here I would not want to see the Bills win the SB if the Pats don’t, because of their arrogant fans who refuse to come to grips with reality.

They had their chance and squandered it. The current Bills team is not all that.

You can’t see him doing that now, or ever?
He’s 24 years old, he will play another 15 years assuming good health. You don’t think he will get better in that time?

Solid point. I agree while holding my line that there are some grumpy old guys here too.

This was weird. Was he injured?

Credit Harbaugh for holding out his best offensive weapon for the last two offensive series because of, check notes, "rotation". Can he survive this?

It was bizarre. We couldn't stop him.

15 is pretty generous for someone who runs that much.

Sure he will get better. Everyone does. No idea what that has to do with the discussion. I said I don't think he will get "over the hump" to greatness. I think Maye will make it over the hump.

He answered that like someone trying to save his job.

I don't think it worked.

For the last 2 games should the Pats brass move Marcus Jones over to RB?

Hendo could be sidelined for a few games.

The Jets would be clowns to try and win and lose draft position. Tua is benched and likely played his last game for Miami if they can find a sucker to take him. The Raiders and Giants are fighting for 1st pick. I bet Brady wants Mendoza, but would the Giants dump Dart and take Mendoza?
No, it looks like he is playing hurt as it is.

That’s kind of crazy. I get there being a rotation, the Patriots did that too when our guys were healthy. But you can be sure that if McDaniels saw that the opponent was having trouble stopping one particular guy, he would have been in there late in the 4th quarter to try to ice the game.

A competent defense will slow down Cooks and keep Allen in the pocket. If we get Williams back and don't have more serious injuries, I think Buffalo will have trouble getting by us.

He is.
Maye would need to really outperform him these last 2 weeks.
Allen is a dark horse, but would really need two Herculean games to close out the season
I think what Drake and Allen have done with thier respective rosters is more impressive than what Stafford has done..

For example Allen or Drake don't have Adams or Ncua at WR.. taking nothing from Stafford but if you look at the big picture Allen and Drake have thier teams just as good record wise with lesser players.

Classic Harbaugh over thinking it.
