Disabling push notifications to help speed things up a bit. I'll turn them back on later this evening.

Gibson is a fine change of pace back beside Henderson. If they also draft a “true” 3rd down back then Stevenson is easy to move on from. That said - Henderson may take a year to get acclimated.
If it takes a rb a year to get acclimated it's a blown draft pick.

I exoect him to be the starter coming out of camp

Don’t even get me started on the Milton trade again… What a disaster… But don’t want too much pressure on Drake I guess

Just wait till we use that pick to move up and get another player most people like.

No. Treyveon can’t carry the whole load.
Think Rhamondre = Ridley
Treyveon = Woodhead
Not talent, but role

150 or so carries 50-60 catches.
james white third down back effective? i'll take it

I think Henderson and Stevenson can work well together, 2 different bodies and styles. Depth at that position is good, right tools for different situations

WOW! I don't love the pick mostly because of the position and my love of drafting defensive players. But the very fact that I have seen 3 pages of essentially happy pats fans THRILLS me. It makes me smile, though I could do without the petty smug remarks about Sanders dropping.

Happy Pats fans! What a novel idea.
Its a Very rare occasion

[/QUOTE] Under Bill, rookie RB's rarely saw the field in their first year.

Hi Ken! I spent a chunk of the afternoon contemplating possible outcomes for picking Henderson at 38, because the more I thought about it, the more I felt he would be the biggest offensive difference-maker on the board. As much as RBs are devalued in the draft, a back with plus receiving, plus pass protection and plus speed is a different story. Having him as an option changes the look of the whole offense.

Yep. If he's not getting 10-15 touches a game Week 1 then something went wrong

I wish I felt that positively about Rham…..fumbling is major issue…but we still have Gibson so have to see how it all plays out.

Sanders hate is contagious

Agree — it’s a chess piece. Obviously we won a lot so it wasn’t a huge deal, but I hated how when Blount was on the field it was a running play tell and when White was out it was a passing play tell. We don’t have enough talent on offense to overcome tells nowadays. This should solve that problem.

Agreed. one of the benefits of a RB is that its such a physical position that the ramp up time is much faster than a lot of positions.

Fumbling very well could be a one year blip
Great point and let’s hope so!!! Rham has been awesome a lot otherwise….

Eh, down and distance dictated the run pass % any way so who was on the field wasn’t a tip
