Henderson is a playmaker in a way some of these receivers aren’t. Many had him pegged to the Broncos at 20 or certainly as a 1st round pick. It’s a good pick and definitely a player opposing defenses have to account for. He’ll be great for Drake.

Jaylin Noel and Kyle Williams are still there at WR too. I would trade up for Noel if he is still there in the mid 50s. And Jack Bech isn’t a bad option as a chain mover in the 3rd either.

New England Patriots: TreVeyeon Henderson, RB, Ohio State – A Grade
I’m not a big fan of Rhamondre Stevenson, so I’m all for the Patriots attempting to either upgrade him or complement him. TreVeyon Henderson should be a better pro, and he’s one of the best players available. He can play all three downs for New England, which Stevenson can’t really do that well. Henderson easily could have gone in the first round.

The longer it goes, I’m gaining a strong feeling that he’s going to wind up with the Cowboys tomorrow. Jerry can’t help himself. And he’ll be starting at some point and Deion will be their HC at some point. And Milton will be cut.

WOW! I don't love the pick mostly because of the position and my love of drafting defensive players. But the very fact that I have seen 3 pages of essentially happy pats fans THRILLS me. It makes me smile, though I could do without the petty smug remarks about Sanders dropping.

Gibson is a fine change of pace back beside Henderson. If they also draft a “true” 3rd down back then Stevenson is easy to move on from. That said - Henderson may take a year to get acclimated.
