I really don't get why people think effectively saying "I'm done being a fan now that they aren't good anymore" is some sort of own.
I thought the giant bonfire of Pats pink hats* completely burned over the last few years. Guess there are a few stragglers.

*For lack of a better term... sorry.

On another note, the remaining schedule for the Patriots based on strength of schedule (assuming Buffalo loses tonight and Miami loses tomorrow) is 22-30.

Further, their opponents between now and their bye week are a combined 13-23. The only team they’ll face who currently has a winning record before their bye week 10 weeks from now is Houston who is 3-1.

Ross This Team is not winning another game with Brissett book it Miami will whip us next week. This Team is DONE!

Jacoby says hold my beer

I don’t disagree, but if we kept Zappe or Mac as the bridge, the complaints would be sooooo much worse right now.
Probably… but I have to feel like Zappe would be more productive than Brissett… He didn’t have any arm strength but Brissett isn’t exactly throwing deep either. The kid could at least move and avoid pressure.

I’m looking at it from the theoretical standpoint of Maye starting next week and being at least solid. A lot of potentially winnable games on the docket.

If things stay as they are, yeah, doesn’t really matter.

Right on schedule with posters calling for Brissett to be benched and questioning this being out of Mayo's league. Their defense still can't compete with the big boys. Bob wanted his team back. Hope he likes what he sees.

This was too easy to predict during the off-season.

I was all for the Chad Shank Ryland Redemption but man, Slye won it fair and really showed off today.

If Polk had a decent QB he'd be opening eyes league wide. Instead nobody knows his name outside this forum.

There's no room for Osborne on this team once Bourne comes back.

Defense was better than the score.

The lack of health and continuity along the o-line, on top of having to put in practice squad talent-level players in Jacobs and Robinson is brutal to see.

I can't stress this enough: It doesn't matter if you have All-Pros everywhere, you'll always be as bad as your most exploitable players. We have guys along the line--and QB-- who are cheat codes for the other team.
What coaches leave Demontrey Jacobs one on one with Joey Bosa for most of the game? Surprised to see Robinson get bull rushed so easily. Leveritt did better than expected. Move Onwenu back inside. At least fortify the middle.

From 2020-2023, we had 4 QB'S. How does Brissette stack up? Which would you rather have starting instead of Brissett.
Any of them ... at least they could move ... with this line we need a QB that can move a bit.
I am astonished an NFL player can be as slow as him.

He'd definitely be more productive (with more INTs for sure), but the complaints would absolutely be so much worse. I mean he already got boos in preseason when he filled in for Maye. I totally get why they had to move on.

Brisk threw it 62-63 air yards in a end of half heave, so his arm his fine.... Then again, Mac, Hoyer, and Zappe are capable of that as well based on my previous scouting.

Brissett HAS an arm, he just can’t USE it.
