Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I think Tom is at 373 without an INT, putting him 30 away from the record.
So 1 more game. They play the Seahawks next. They've been playing well so that might be a tough game (all of Tampa's games will be, for as long as they have Leftwich and Bowles).

So now that the 100k yards passing has been done, what's next for Brady?

Cade Otton was added to his record number of receivers who caught a TD. Whatever that is.

He finally got a 4th quarter comeback after getting close 3 times I think. He's very close to tieing Manning.

8 rings between three different teams.

Lmao apparently leftwhich sat that last drive out and it was Brady making calls

He passed him.

Bucs WR had 6 drops today??? Wow I missed it I was following along the ESPN Gamecast. So all I would see is incomplete lol

Many of us have discussed this Bucs season as being along the same lines as the 2013 and 2019 Patriots seasons. Well, here's a little something about that:

Tom Brady's game-winning touchdown pass to Cade Otton today with Bucs came with 0:09 left -- only once in his NFL career has he thrown a game-winning touchdown pass with less time remaining in regulation -- 2013, had 0:05 left and hit Kenbrell Thompkins for a Patriots win.

They got their other big DL back for the game, and the front 7 looked much better. I don't think that was a coincidence.

And watch for Camarda to get the NFC special teams player of the week.

In the end, BA was the smartest guy in the organization.

He lobbied the Jaguars to take Leftwich to get rid of him and when the jaguars bailed out of it, he retired because he knew that with Leftwich it was a lost cause

I was one of them. Owned it all the way, too. I’d rather be wrong about the team and see them win than be right and see them lose.
I don't think I was too hard on you. Was I? I did respect that you didn't run away and hide from it.

Please Gronk!!

I know that this is probably not real but you could play 2 TEs with Cotton and Gronk assuming he's good to go. It will take at least a month to get up to speed but he could help with blocking and hot reads and stuff like that. They really need to move Godwin outside imo. He's not right and can't play the slot. It's sad that Miller will have to hold the fort there or maybe call up Johnson from the practice squad. Once they can win inside Evans will become a big problem. Never run on first down again unless it's to the outside.

He is, though. The effectiveness is lessened, but it still helps. I've seen the data. I'd pass it on to you, but I don't recall where I saw it.
I know it's only one game but I remember a playoff game between Pitt and Cleveland many, many years ago where Pitt's D totally dominated the Browns' run game, but the Browns kept running into brick walls anyway and managed to make play action work. If not for a drop on a perfect pass at the end they may have won.

I don't know why I ever doubt that guy. LOL
That's the most amazing thing of all about Brady. In spite of all that he's done there are people, even his own fans, who don't believe he can pull something off and yet he does, over and over and over again. And that's how it's been for him from the start of his career to now. He just keeps proving people wrong, and unfortunately for this Pats fan, one of those people is Baldichick.

Bet on Tom Brady over 270 passing yards and it cash in in that last drive, Jesus, 3rd quarter about 0 yards, only 3 and outs. Needed about 140 yards in the 4th quarter, almost impossible, not for the Goat. Those last few minutes I wasnt sure I was rooting for the TD (second to last drive) and then Rams getting a FG to take to overtime so Brady could get another drive or two to get the over, or was rooting for turnover on downs so the Rams would run 3 times and punt, that's what happened and then it was the best choice anyways, not sure the Rams would be able to get to field goal range, they are garbage right now.

Anyway, it was painful to watch. If the Bucs lose this game I think they should fire Bowles and Leftwich mid season due to ineptitude. They really suck and despite the win their football operations should think about some change, it was Brady who won this game with his greatness. You won't get that every week. And those WRs dropping passes all around, ffs.

All Rodgers does is pout and quit and Brady just keeps grinding against a much better defense than the Lions. It is pretty certain that Rodgers has mailed it in for the season.
I'm not sure what bothers me more. Giving Rodgers the MVP last year over Brady or Cant Newton tying Grogan's TD record.

Bill Buckner level of choke. You cant find many grandmothers who would drop a football coming in that soft.
Brady should call Danny Amendola see if he's in for a few extra pay checks and fill that role.

That could have been the last comeback from 2 TDs down in the last 2 minutes against the Browns. They managed to pull that off this year too.

Despite 6 WR drops, the last being perennial tease Miller's drop of an easy end zone game winning TD, TFB drove for a game winning TD with 45 seconds left on the clock and no TOs. THAT is why I watch the Tamper games!!! Foolish to miss the greatest QB ever's games.
