Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Bucs’ RB Leonard Fournette, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, is expected to play vs. the Saints, per source.

Bucs HC Todd Bowles just told me Tackle Donovan Smith is definitely out and they’ll be working out Julio Jones to see how he feels. Jones a game time decision.

It's week 2! More of the same stuff from last year. If Godwin was in none of it would matter but with no one to work the middle zones it's huge trouble going forward unless someone can do it. They will flood the field and eliminate Evans. Damn I miss Edelman.

Going to be a loooong day. But none of it matters if they can run the ball. They'll be fine if they can do that

Bucs' inactives today vs. Saints: T Donovan Smith, WR Chris Godwin, WR Julio Jones, RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn, TE Kyle Rudolph, CB Zyon McCollum, QB Kyle Trask.

No Godwin
No Smith
No Jones

Now's the time to become a bit concerned about the offense.

Edit: Sorry for missing those who'd already posted the inactives. I thought I'd refreshed to look before posting, but I obviously had forgotten.

Evans is banged up too... per usual he'll check himself out of the game intermittently. Gage isn't even 100%. Only week two and the receiving corps is already a mess. No Kamara for the Saints should balance things out a bit today. I'm glad I bet the under.

Can they just cut Kyle Rudolph? Useless space on the 53.

I couldn’t care less if they sit literally anyone who has health concerns because the Saints would target them. The stat line and final score couldn’t matter less as long as it’s a Bucs W with no more injuries.

Uhh so not only is Kamara out but there’s this

Bucs probably have the injury advantage at this point.

That's good news for the Bucs but as we saw last year this game is about Brady. If he puts up 20 points they win.

Run , Run, Pass, Punt

That's the recipe today

If you've got fractures, there's always a risk of doing more damage in a contact environment.
