Minor secondary injury following an ACL, and having to move in an awkward way in order to adjust to an off throw. A couple of weeks seems reasonable. Hell, they could probably push that and start him in a week or two, but they'll likely not do that with the WR depth chart that they have.

Losing Godwin's versatility really hurts that receiving corps. He's uniquely gifted at weaving through traffic on those quick hitters. As good as Evans is downfield and in the red zone, he's not replicating Godwin from the slot. Julio Jones doesn't possess elite athleticism anymore. Gage has been working through injuries, so whatever it was yesterday, he looked rather ordinary. Brady couldn't connect with Perriman downfield either. Scotty Miller was inactive, probably, seems like they could use similar contributions from him like in 2020.

The Bucs TE situation looks pretty bad. Brate's a decent #2 but he's overmatched in coverage as a #1. Rudolph is worthless, I don't understand that signing. One of the rookies doesn't catch passes and I'm not sure what they can get out of Cade Otton. Not a bright outlook here. Also, as I said before, they need to get their RBs more involved in the passing game... activate Bernard for next week or something. With what Fournette gives them as a runner, they shouldn't also overuse him in the passing game (I still don't trust his hands either).

Let's face it, the Cowboys offense was terrible yesterday. A competent offense would have kept that game competitive with all of the FGs the Bucs were settling for. The Saints obviously have had their number in the regular season so I don't really feel that great about this weekend's matchup. Although I could see the game unfolding like yesterday's given Winston is the opposing quarterback.

Lenny caught 69 balls last year and 76 in Jacksonville the year before going to Tampa he’s a fine pass catcher and blocker the run gum will be elite. They’ll get no receiving from the TE but they blocked there ass off last night great to see how much do you need from them when you have Evans, Godwin, Julio, and Gage.

Agreed with most of your points except the final thought. The Cowboys offense wasn't bad, the Bucs Def was just that good yesterday.

The secondary had tight coverage the whole time and the pass rush got constant pressure.

The Cowboys Def also looked good. Parsons was unstoppable with a single blocker and they played a good bend don't break style defense.

At least until their O line gets settled in (hopefully), they need their young TEs to run block and help on passing downs than they need them to catch passes. Brady is grossly underpaid. He should be in the 40 mil range. The 15 mil hometown discount is essentially equivalent to Mike Evans salary. Rodgers shouldn't complain for having nor receivers as he ate up too much of the cap.

The receiving corps for Dallas is minus Cooper, Wilson and Gallup. It's basically Lamb and stiffs until Gallup is healthy. Now with Dak out their season is toast. Unless Parsons & Co. can win them a bunch of games.

RBs and TEs have always been a big part of Brady's passing game. Licht has done a nice job filling out that roster but he whiffed on replacing Gronk and basically they're without a liable passing catching TE. Julio supposedly was brought in to make up for Gronk's production but now he'll have to make up for Godwin's production. Perhaps I'm over-evaluating one week but Gage didn't look comfortable in the offense. In the short term while the team is waiting for Godwin to heal up, and the new guys (Julio, Gage and the rookies) are getting fully acclimated to the offense, they have the toughest part of their schedule over the next three weeks (Saints, Packers and Chiefs). There's cause for concern.

The Packers needs to ride their RBs and set up lots of play-action passing. Watson will have a significant impact on Cleveland once he returns... they might compete for that division so he could earn his money. A name that will be shooting up that list is Lamar Jackson, who I really like as a player, as a passing quarterback there's room for improvement, but once you add in the athleticism and running, he's an elite player.

The Buccaneers are not counting on Rob Gronkowski to return to play football this season, despite some outside suspicion that the star tight end could unretire for a second time to reunite with Tom Brady.

Lamar is a better QB than his MVP season where he still wasn't a very good passing QB. He has improved in that category but I don't think he'll improve much more. He probably wants close to th 50mil range but anyone asking more than Mahomes and Allen is overpaid.

Watson hasn't played in 2 years. I don't think he'll get up to speed this season.
