Unless there's something new that I missed, Brady hasn't signed an extension, and has just has his contract restructured.
Not so sure about that. If they win this year I think he walks off championHe now can’t be tagged next year… my bad I meant contract reconstruction not extension but ya if he’s adding that clause in the deal he’s still looking to play past this season
It really is amazing how well Brady has performed into his 40's. What I think separates him from the others is the few amount of mistakes he makes at key times.Eh the Patriots offensive system didn't require him to air it out as much and it worked for 20 years. The main point of my original post was that during 2018-2021 his numbers were very similar to Mahomes and Rodgers if not greater specially in air yards thrown
I was thinking the same way in 2018 and look where we are now. Incredible. Not so sure about that. If they win this year I think he walks off champion

Yes. He is playing his best football right now.It really is amazing how well Brady has performed into his 40's. What I think separates him from the others is the few amount of mistakes he makes at key times.
Nobody knows whether Brady will retire including Brady himself. The most important factor imo is how well he plays. Not so sure about that. If they win this year I think he walks off champion
I think he wants to go to Miami for a variety of reasons - team has ramped up offense for him, Sean Payton coming, stake in ownership, he is building his big mansion there.Nobody knows whether Brady will retire including Brady himself. The most important factor imo is how well he plays.
If his play and stats are more like 2018 and 2019, it's a step back and 100% he will retire. Although he was still a top 10 QB in those seasons and won a SB.
If in the next season Brady can play more like 2020 and 2021 and be in the MVP conversation, I think he'll consider playing 1 more season irregardless of whether they win the SB.
Yes. He is playing his best football right now.
That's interesting. I thought he took a step back last year.
He did but he is also still worth the 5th year option price tagThat's interesting. I thought he took a step back last year.

Programming note: Bucs will hold their 2022 rookie minicamp two weeks after the draft, on May 13-14.
