Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

At worst Tampa Bay will finish 9-8 now. I had them beating Arizona anyway but that sorry team with Colt McCoy is really f*cked. We can look forward to that coach-a-thon... dummy Bowles vs Kingsbury for which only a complete mental breakdown can explain his coaching decisions.
The way things are going, that 9-8 record would be great.

An 8-9 losing record would be another 1st for Brady and is a real possibility. They also have a good chance of missing the playoffs completely with this record combined with a loss to the Panthers.

If the Bucs lose to Cincy, the Cardinals game is a must win game to avoid the above scenario.

The Cardinals are cooked... they're packing it in for sure now with Murray out. They also need to move on from Kingsbury.
Carolina punted their season at the trade deadline. They're probably as surprised as anyone that their still in a race for the division. If the Bucs lose that game then Bowles should be fired immediately and Brady should retire in his post game press conference.
Atlanta also has given up on their season... now turning to Desmond Ridder. Brady's not losing to another rookie quarterback this season.

Lock it in... 9-8.

Thanks for that kiss of death. You've been wrong just about everything this season.

Bucs miss the playoffs. Book it.
What would you prefer? Brady fighting to a 'winning season' and then getting eliminated round 1, or missing the playoffs?

The way the Bucs are playing no game is a gimme.

Bengals are the rightful favorites this Sunday
I can see McCoy shredding Bowles defense
Carolina already beat the Bucs
and Atlanta played them tough til the end.

Win the division.

Right now its winning the division. I am not sure how far they can go with that oline, but you have to get there first.

I think the Bengals win this weekend but the Bucs offense will have a solid game.
McCoy sucks. He's not shredding anyone. Another game too where the Bucs offense should shine.
Carolina is going to be this year's version of the Saints? Beating the Bucs twice? I don't see it happening.
Atlanta's offense stinks. Their defense is worse. Arthur Smith didn't deserve a shot at being an NFL head coach and it's showing.

I'll double down on 9-8... guaranteed!

If the Oline plays well they have a shot vs Cincy
McCoy may suck but so does Mitch Trubisky and PJ Walker yet they shredded the Bucs.
Atlanta may be spiraling out of control but it's still a divisional game.
We shall see I hope you're right

Kyler sucks in pretty much half his games and especially in important December games, so McCoy is not much of a downgrade imo.

This Bucs team hasn't shown anything to make you believe in them, even against weak teams. What a disappointing season for Brady. He must be pissed.

It's not over yet. Given the remaining opponents, the offense has a real chance to establish some momentum. The defense should be healthier by the postseason.

I think this team is hopeless in terms of accomplishing anything great but winning the division and notching that on Brady’s resume is certainly attainable.

Are you referring to the 49ers/Rams? (I don't remember what happened) Or mistaking the ending of Rams/Bucs as the NFCCG letting Kupp get wide open deep?
Exhibit B = Bucs - 49ers this year.
Exhibit A = Bucs - Rams last year, aka the NFCCG.

There are other examples of coaching putting players in worse positions to win. It happens all the time.

Look at all the admiration from opposing players
The fact that Brady is going to end up finishing his career on another team, while the man who chased him away from the Pats, and tried to replace him with Cant Newton, gets to end on his terms, makes me want to puke.

There used to be an old sound bite of a Red Socks fan saying "they ruined my summa!" that I think of in this situation. Only this time it's "Bill ruined my last three wintas!"

Yeah Belichick screwed up what could have been the final chapter of the Patriots Dynasty. Instead he facilitated Brady winning a Super Bowl elsewhere and damaged his own legacy in the process.

Given the impressive state of the AFC, it's highly doubtful Belichick reached another Super Bowl. Frankly with Buffalo in the division, he's probably looking at wild card matchups on the road at best, and they won't be favored to win any of those games anytime soon.

Bucs - Rams was a Divisional game

NFCCG was Rams - 49ers

I honestly didn't care how Brady played and I sure as heck didn't want to see him in another uniform. He wanted to finish his career here and he earned that chance and the fans should have been given that chance too. Instead we get Belichick's coaching clown car going for a spin here while the greatest player to ever play the game was driven away.
