I would disagree at this time. They just showed the throws running left or running right and Wilson had better throws than Jones.

Passing on a chance to get Fields and drafting Mac Jones has a very good chance to be a repeat of the Bears passing on Mahomes and Watson for Trubisky.

that can be said for any team as any team can trade up...but at what cost? Would have cost the Pats at least a 2nd round pick

I preferred fields but unlike some I will wait to see how this all plays out before I form any real opinion. I'm just glad we have a new QB to have hope in.

I think there is a very good chance that whichever one we got of the 2 would end up being better. The coaching a QB gets at the NFL level and the team surrounding them is critical to their success.
The bears coaching staff pretty much sucks and their offense isn’t youngster friendly. The coach and gm have their jobs on the line so fields will get thrown to the wolves.
We have built an offense that is tailor made for a young QB. Bb will not rush him. And he will get fantastic coaching in a very qb friendly, mistake limiting scheme.

absolutely, were talking about the franchise qb... to move up 5 picks for that would’ve been peanuts compared to the long term gain of fields vs mac if fields was his guy. mac was his guy

Honestly I can see them having Jones and Cam on the field together simultaneously. With the two tight ends and Cam as an h-back guy moving around that's actually something you can do a lot with.
