But Langi has to go through waivers first..
Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on. I don't see how he possibly could have gotten an accrued season for 2018, but both Reiss and Daniels say he doesn't have to go on waivers.

I will always root for a Connecticut guy. Well until they kill a bunch of people...
The mother and the kid were from NH.

Maybe because of the car accident - did he have a injury settlement? I don't know how the rules work in this case, but maybe it counts.

I went down the rabbit hole on Youtube and found a video of him showing off UM's facilities and before jumping in the ice bath he said "I am from Connecticut. It's cold up there". Sold me lol

He was referring to AARON H who was from CT

no stats for 2018, maybe he was not on a roster that year & so only has 3 years of service

He spent the entirety of 2018 on the Jets Practice Squad. It tells you that down in the notes on that page

2017 : He was put on NFI reserve and stayed there - no settlement and wouldn't counted anyway since it was NFI.
And the car accident happened just before 6th game of the season.
EDIT: He was placed on NFI after game 6 so maybe 2017 does count

2018 on PS doesn't count unless he was paid like 53 maybe..

I hope they got this one right . there were plenty safer “procedural“ options so im not sure about procedural here..

Yep.

The mom is from my hometown. Same HS as me. Brother just retired from the KPD.

Whole family had a big shooting range over 10 acres of land.

Checked with @Miguel. He confirms that Langi does not have to clear waivers.

Oh boy, I like Mason… I mean Jakob is good but he can be upgraded… very interesting

Love it. Wanted them to draft him. It’s like picking up an extra fifth round pick this year for free!

Patriots claimed former Navy QB and Dolphins WR Malcolm Perry, and as far as I can tell lost nobody to waivers.

He fits the role of “player who attended a service academy, played lacrosse, or played rugby.”

He also fits the role of player that Little Bill "likes" to coach now, talent be damned.

Further proof that doing what's best for the T-E-A-M is NOT J-O-B 1 with the Emperor.

Worst WRs in football, again.

what part of “former Navy player” did you miss?
LOL it’s in Bills DNA to claim him!

If I remember correctly I think he was their option QB, something that might be very useful is scout team.

Then Bill should've waited until this useless stiff cleared waivers and then signed his little buddy to the PS.

Confusing to me as well. He has 3 accrued seasons so, AFAIK, has to pass through waivers.
