A Dallas style trade down would be nice. I don't know if there is a Quinn type who would trigger that, though.

not even Staley..i think Light is fine for ZBS and Kazcur is alright...we have bigger needs

I agree, but I like Staley, and I wouldn't be upset with the pick. Who knows how much Light has left in the tank?

Will they really spend a 1st on a safety? For some reason I think it'll be unexpected like a DL (Branch) or OT (Staley) or TE (Olsen), and then take S/LB in the 3rd round.

I think we go defense on both picks, that's what Bob Kraft implied this morning at the draft luncheon.

Michigan Dave comes with fairly transparent bias where either Michigan players or anyone from ND is concerned. He still can't figure out how Drew Henson landed in the CFL.

Really? I don't hate ND. I am down on Quinn so I hate ND? I like ND, by the way, when they aren't playing us. I also don't think Branch is a great fit for NE, and thought that he was overrated in the draft to begin with (Woodley was the catalyst of the defense.)

Henson ended up on the bench because he quit football for a couple of years. I've never said otherwise. I am fairly objective when it comes to Michigan players, I just tend to comment on them a little more than others because I've watched every snap they've taken. Not to sound arrogant, but I think I'm a pretty good evaluator of talent, and tend to have strong opinions on midwest guys who I either scouted at one time, or have had the opportunity to watch significantly. If anything, I would be biased against OSU. But I think Troy Smith is a bargain in the draft, Ginn will be a good pro, and Anthony Gonzalez is overrated.

Staley is an awesome tackle, I would not be disappointed at all.
