Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

chicago could always use a qb(quinn) and the pats could slide back and pick up extra picks

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

I hope so, that would be awesome considering cleveland will still probably not be good next year and it's a high 2nd this year.

It's a kenny.

I'd rather them pick up the Browns #2 this year and #3 this year. Or even #4 this year or maybe switch #3 positions or something.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

Well.... Looks like Dallas, JAX, and the Giants are going to have their phones ringing off the hook for trades as team try to get by KC.

i must be getting old or something, please define a kenny

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

So, Nelson, Merriweather, Pos, Beason, Bowe, Meachem, Staley, Harris, Houston, Ross and Leonard are all still on the board. I like it.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

GIANTS select Aaron Ross.

Thanks god that he's gone.

I wonder if Jacksonville tries to trade down or if they take Quinn...

They could be looking at Nelson for safety since they lost Deon Grant.

It's gonna kill me to get this close to Nelson (BPA for us right now, IMO) and then lose him.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

I'm glad they took Ross.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

aaron ross gone. phew

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

And Ross is now gone...

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

The next 3 picks may be Staley, Nelson, Ross.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

There goes Ross. Thought they might go with Staley. Nelson probably goes next, then hopefully Branch, then hopefully Bowe/Meachum to KC, which will leave Quinn on the board for us to wheel and deal with, and still have Houston/Merriweather/Harris up there.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

They did us a favor! Griffin is too dumb to excel on our team.

..sigh. i hate how people just come up with random ****

Just seeing if people actually read my posts.

A kenny is an old friend of mine...we turned his name into a common noun meaning "screw up" or "unfathomable thing".

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

dumb pick. I'm glad though, because it means NE will not be picking him, and I was really hoping they wouldn't.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

I could really see New England dealing with Cleveland if KC does not take Quinn, the connection is there ...

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

For those of you watching the NFL Network's draft (I lost the ESPN feed due to Stanley Cup playoffs...argh, Canada!), do you find that Mayock always shows footage of the player's bad plays instead of good? Its annoying.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

There's still a lot of value in these low picks with Quinn, Branch, Meachem. We will probably see a trade coming soon.
