It's illegal to pay another person's fine, and essentially chad is directly thumbing his nose at the commish (in front of him no less). Chad....... if you read these boards...... PLEASE, PLEASE don't tweak the commissioners nose.

Maybe Goodell thought he could be mentored and watched more closely by the staff and teammates in Philly and being a winning atmosphere more often than not lately it would be better for him mentally.

If he went to Cinci or Buffalo he might not still be in the NFL doing as well as he is for all we know. Speculating on these things is pointless because we will never have an answer to the what-if's, we can't change what already happened. All we do know is that he got his life back together in Philly, became a starting QB, has a true work ethic, and is more exciting to watch on the field than he was in Atlanta.

Yeah, I got not problem with Chad going to Mason's house and conveniently losing 20k in a card game or something, but there is no need to tweak the Commish's nose by telling him you are going to do something illegal (in an NFL sense).

Why should I leave? Do you read how ridiculous some of the stuff posted here is? Can you honestly tell me that you think Goodell hates this team? What supports it? It's just fan speculation nonsense.

And of course I'm going to call people out who run for the hills when a player has a hangnail. You hear about somebody missing one practice and half a dozen threads "xxxxxxxxx to IR??????!!??!?!?!???" pop up within an hour.

Also, good job holding the fact that you made a donation over somebodies head, I bet you feel truly superior because of that. The fact that you even attempted it makes me think you donated to the site for all of the wrong reasons, you do it to support the site, not to hold it over the non-donators heads and tell them to leave if they don't like what you post.

Sure but it wouldn't change the fact that Goodell was apparently favoring one team over another. Playing favorites for good reasons is still playing favorites.

It depends if you look at it as playing favorites or trying to put Vick in a good place given his recent history.

Or alternatively, placing Vick where it is best for the NFL as a whole (which is what the head of the NFL should do). On a less competitive team, Vick's accomplishments might have been completely lost translating to a less competitive and less interesting league, lower market shares, fewer fans.
