True statement, reminds me of one of my favorite sayings:

The only people left who can't let go of the idea that Brady and the Patriots are "Cheaters" are:
Folks at 345 who would have to admit they were wrong and can't, so they take refuge in delusion.
Haters in the media who have their own agenda to get clicks and tweeter followers
Jealous fans for whom the truth is irrelevant.

I don't give a **** about any one of those groups. They're all idiots and...well Twain said it better than I ever could.

@PatsFanSince74, I'm glad you watched the broadcast in NY. Even though I live here, I had to watch a stream...because if I see a "highlight" of that GD catch in The Game That Shall Not Be Named...or that other catch in The Other Game That Shall Not Be Named, I think I would have thrown my TV out the window.

It seems like EVERY TIME the Giants play the Pats, they HAVE to show those plays. It's annoying.

Yeah. Especially since I didn't watch the magic helmet catch for years after it happened...the manningham throw and catch was something else...a great play...but i still can't bear to see it...

but i guess the Seattle Fans are about as sick of the Butler pick...and the Raiders' fans don't need to see the Tuck Play again...and fans in St. Louis don't need to see Adam's kick in the Superdome...

I would agree with that as well. I did not say Boston was easy on Tom, just that New York media was not as Brady friendly as the poster implied.

Perillo and Hart used to be very good on PFW in progress. However once the got a bit of air time because of the show, they soon learned that if they wanted any more they'd have follow the "script" and go with the click bait materiel. Now they get a lot of air time now, and treat PFW in progress like something beneath their present media position.

Perillo is now trying to fight Fleger calling them "the sunshine boys" for blowing sunshine up the Pats asses all the time. And the one thing you DON'T want to be called in this media market is a homer.

Who cares about Rock Concerts, who in the local media dances, and who RAPs better? Jeez! Call the football game, will ya! Get the down, distance, and team we are playing correct. Don't keep telling us that the clock is "winding down". And PLEASE, don't keep going to frick and frack in the furniture room for "another great point, Rochy." or "I wanna touch on the point XYZ said." IMO, these guys add NOTHING.

Color guy, please focus on the play. Explain the blocking. Tell us who was in on the tackle. Try not to make jokes or fill every second with your babble.

Those comments are nice to hear, especially from people who can't be accused of being Patriots homers.

It's totally unrealistic, but I wish people would take those ideas ("The league wasn't able to prove anything" and "Goodell issued the punishment because he could, not because it was warranted") and think about their implications. If Goodell can issue an unprecedented punishment for an infraction he can't even prove happened, that does more damage to the league's integrity than 10 years worth of security footage showing Brady supervising McNally deflating footballs.

Putting one team at a disadvantage for the short term (Brady's suspension) and long term (stolen draft picks) upsets the competitive balance more than if all the things the haters believe are true. Put another way, whatever teams beat the Patriots this year "cheated" to do it.

I believe that started when Perillo started doing guest spots on WEEI's Big Show back when Big O was there. He'd always bypass PFW and leave Andy to expouse any and all idiotic thoughts he may have had. Then Andy started going to 98.5 on Toucher and Rich. And that's when they got big for their britches.

Too bad the Pats announcers would never do the same. Almost certainly under orders from Kraft Productions not to. Either that or they're just too busy calling Kraft the architect of the dynasty, relentlessly saying how charitable he is or telling us he used to sit in the stands as well.

I'm curious, when he was sitting in those stands, what exactly was he watching?

Was he doing anything, like, oh, I don't know, being at least emotionally invested in the team, or simply waiting for the final score to see if we won or not...

Chatham needs to go to the booth. He has a good personality and gets to the point. Like i said last night he stated in 45 seconds what Mingo brings to the team, added some insights and speculated on his role, etc what Fauria over 2 hrs studdered and mumbled over . The fact that the producers didn't let Matt talk until the 4th qtr after 1/2 time was bad production. Amateur hour production on par with a freaking junior high Easter concert.

I was going to go into full-on rant mode, but it seems I was beaten to it above, so I'll keep it short. Please, we don't give a bleep that you or your producers like Bruce Springsteen. What's next, telling us about your golf scores or your fantasy league draft?

In fact, I now believe that Pats fans who still worry about what the haters think are actually part of the problem...not the solution. They empower the haters by arguing with them.

Its terrible. Another 1/2 ass excuse for local programming. Its like watching Candlepins for Cash with Don Gillis or Community Auditions with Dave Maynard.

Ok, I can't let this comment stand without a fight! I used to love Candlepins for Cash and would watch that every Saturday morning as a young teenager! It was awesome, got to see Paul Berger's 500 triple, etc. Why yes, I didn't have a girlfriend at the time, why do you ask?

And my brother was on Comminity Auditions! You could see me in the TV audience too, as a 9 year old pissed that I actually had to share my chair with some creepy strange guy who had a pornstache. My brother played the piano. Finished in 3rd place, lost to a break dancer....
