    They don't really talk about Brees when he plays well, so why would they talk about him when he doesn't?

    Hell, he had to have the most efficient passing season in NFL history (up to this point) AND break the all-time passing yards record before people started talking about him this season.

    New Orleans is the smallest TV market in the NFL. There's no upside for the national media to talk Saints either way, they make no money off it.
