Good read for anyone interested:

I thought it was pretty balanced assessment with some good tidbits on Jones' statistics over the last few games.

Mac Jones relishes in BIG games, IMO. Championship games in college helped groomed him.

The only factor is the COLD/WIND and potentially SNOW. Lets see if he can make adjustments to his throws in these elements...

It’ll be very windy (40 mph) and wind chill will be low. Mac will have a hard time with this, and he’ll be under orders not to risk TO’s. I doubt punt returners will even be out there. Could def be a 10-7 type of game.

Mac is one of the most elite pocket passer, short/medium throw field general prospects in a long time. Coached by one of BB's best football buddies. So great he fell to #15.

The cold and snow don't concern me, but I do think the wind is a legitimate variable that Mac will need to adjust to. He throws a soft, nose flat/slightly-up ball. He's extraordinarily accurate, but that's the type of throw that will get moved around in the wind (a lot like Brees).

Mac will need to do his best to adapt, and try to snap the ball more and give it a nose-down trajectory. Part of this, too, will be physical maturation and development, lower-body/core strength. I think he'll grow on both fronts.

Given the elements, I suggest young Mac works his beard magic

Mac is the kind of QB that will probably study the experience he’s about to have in this weather and work on improving it this off-season. Like Brady would.

Would be more worried about a deep ball -only QB. A guy who throws 71% completion of mostly 7.5 yard catchable passes will be fine in the snow/wind

The article is unavailable in EU..

Any chance of a copy and paste, if that's not against the rules? Please and thank you.

What’s wild is his overall game time inexperience. 413 pass attempts through out college. Only top qb prospect with less over the last few years is Lance. Pretty standard for a guy that goes to a good program and works his way in, but the way Mac is processing the game this year is great. Barring an injury, the kid is only going to get better. He’s going to get stronger, faster at processing and reacting. His pocket movement is going to improve. We’re watching the molding of a new Foxboro Assassin. He’ll have his ups and downs. Lay up some huge stinkers, but we’ve got our guy folks!!

Has he ever played a cold weather game in College?

Dang, I didn't realize Kyle Dugger is out. That hurts against Josh Allen and the run game.
That's not confirmed yet I don't think?
Or is it?

Nothing on twitter yet, either way.

Not traveling with the team is no indicator, looking at the situation I think he could leave Foxboro late Monday afternoon and still play (assuming Kraft’s Gulfstream flies him out). It depends on the test schedule required by the league and whether he tests negative today.

Great article

Just hope Nick Folk can adjust properly on his kicks in the WIND tomorrow night.... I think it will be down to the Kickers to win the game.

Agreed. I don’t think Mac has the arm for the wind he is about to feel on Monday.

I foresee a lot of running and VERY short passes.

Which was plenty for the Colts to beat the Bills.
