2+ months before opening night is not exactly a correlation dude. Far from it.
That apology by Kraft was the day after Goodell rejected Brady's appeal would be the correct correlation instead of your disingenuous insinuation of him making that apology sound like it was just before opening night.
This is another straw man. I said nothing of it being "just" before opening night. Only that it was before opening night. He apologized in part because he suspected he was going to get booed when he walked out on the field. What did it accomplish? Exactly what he wanted. He then backed that apology up by hugging the guy before the Giants game and having a friendly chat with him. Kraft is KILLING it. Taking the fight directly to Goodell's door step. Yeah... that's the ticket.
My reading comprehension is just fine.
It clearly isn't. From the get go, you were under the assumption that I thought he made a speech pre-game in Week 1. Now you're moving the goal posts, creating straw men, and...
You're just trying to twist facts to fit your spiteful, petty little anti-Kraft tirade narratives. Bravo. You should apply down at 345 Park Ave. You'd fit right in.
...tossing out some ad homs for good measure. I twisted no facts whatsoever. Everything that I said in my last post is absolutely truth and absolutely fact. Instead of just admitting that you made a mistake and moving on, you're doubling down for whatever reason and got crushed in the process.
Your posts about Kraft are as sleazy as the crap that flows from Goodells office. If you think your any different than him, re-read how you word your attacks. Slimy.
OE1, as an exercise, try to read posts that have even the slightest of negative takes on Kraft with an open mind as opposed to immediately getting defensive and snippy. You may find that your mind will open up as you'll be able to discern between the good things that Kraft has done and some of the more underhanded/spineless things he's done.
You attack Goodell non-stop and place the blame at his feet for this mess and yet you apologize for Kraft. That makes zero sense to me. Kraft is one of the primary and direct reasons why Goodell is in the position he's in today. Kraft is one of the primary and direct reasons why Goodell makes as much as he does. Kraft is one of the primary and direct reasons why Goodell gets support from ownership over his handling of player punishments (this INCLUDES Brady's). Kraft stood up for Goodell during the Ray Rice debacle. Kraft stood up for Goodell against Jones and Snyder. Kraft is responsible for Goodell. So, no matter which way you slice it, Kraft shoulders the blame for Brady since, if you're going to blame Goodell for this mess, you should also blame the guy that's had his back and is one of the biggest players in his commissionership. Kraft screwed up and has screwed up well before Kravitz's piece went public. If you don't want to see that, that's up to you.
I'll let you have the last word. I'm not going to send this topic down a rabbit hole that I was just making fun of last week. I probably won't read the post, though, so have a blast.
