Actually I just added it to my post but Pats kicked a FG on that one. They were at the NYJ 21, refs call it it's a 1st down and the Pats are at the NYJ 10
That's the one! Knew it lead to a kick still a potentially game changing "error".
So they can see Butler with a tiny bit of jersey from 15-20 yards away but none of them saw this?
FYI:
That happened on 3rd and 4 from the NYJ 21. Pats had to settle for a FG. If the refs would have rightly called it, it would have been 1st and goal from the NYJ 10
I'm not sure why anyone is acting surprised to see a number of contentious (non)decisions go against the Patriots at this stage of the season. Truthfully, I'm more surprised when a call goes their way.
They seriously ban that? Who cares about a sack dance

I remember watching it live too, I could not care less if a guy celebrates after doing something. If a team doesnt want the opponent to celebrate then dont give them anything to celebrate.I get the argument about too much not being allowed.
I don't get the argument over a throat slashing gesture or similar categorical gestures. There has to be a limit and, IMHO, it seems perfectly fitting to place those limits on gestures of that nature.
Side note: I didn't watch the video and I'm assuming the un-allowed gesture is there based on other posters' descriptions.
Seems like kind of a weak penalty tbh, has it been consistently called?
