It's funny we are all *****ing about the calls, but i bet we will get some calls called our way that people won't like next weekend

If we get a call like that 'hit to the helmet' that just happened, I'll very much take it, as it helps the Patriots in a playoff game. Doesn't mean I won't think it's complete bull****, though.

Another ticky tacky penalty. Seriously, this is becoming flag football. Teams no longer need to earn yardage, they'll just let the refs give them chunk after chunk.

The idea is to stop the head hunters but the rule is flawed and anyone who touches a helmet is guilty of a head hunter type foul. The league should make some common sense adjustment based on the fact there is a big difference between the two.

As a Patriots fan, I love when calls go our way. As a football fan I'm pissed at what this great sport has been turned into.

I'm not going to lie, a lot of these new rules/way of calling games is in our favor with the way our team is structured. That said, I would MUCH rather see football go back to playing a balanced game, you know, where the defense actually had a chance at playing football. I think the bigger problem is that they still don't call things consistently. Half of the of unnecessary roughness calls are clean, hard hits. It's becoming the pansy league. The NBA on turf.

The Patriots are structured this way because Belichick saw the direction the league was going in. That's one of the amazing things about him, he completely changed his philosophy to an offensive one within a couple years and didn't miss a beat.

One thing you don't see NE get as much as other teams is the deep PI call. ANother area where having a guy like Lloyd would help.

IT is a better OT idea, but Nazi RG won't go for it. He knows better than the players and coaches what is best for the league. The new OT rules and the attempt for an 18 game season. Yeah. Get this ******* out.

I would prefer that kind of OT anyway despite who came up with it first.

One thing you don't see NE get as much as other teams is the deep PI call. ANother area where having a guy like Lloyd would help.

I don't really see the Patriots getting many calls at all on offense. For all the media and opposing fans talk about Brady being protected by the league, he's one of the QBs that has had the least amount of roughing the passer penalties called for in the league. The one penalty I can recall us getting frequently in our favor is defensive holding.
