NFL Week Two Games

Ok....64 yds to 0 yds.
The Patriots did complete 1 pass to a RB for 4 yds last week.....that plus $9.5 mill in cap space is AWESOME.

The truth is behind the $$$.
BB has been roster cutting to save cap $$$ at the expense of depth.
Welker/Woodhead/LLoyd....all replaced with cheaper less effective replacements.
Toss in the Mesko cut and BB is stockpiling cap space. And since the Mesko cut was the only post Hernandez move, don't give me "the pats are projecting future AHERN cap problems".

That makes a lot of sense considering how much Welker/Amendola make, respectively. Not to mention the fact that Vereen was primed to break out before getting injured. Couple of flaws in your logic there.

Also, might it be that they have young studs (Solder, McCourty) who they'll need to lock up long-term soon, not to mention whatever vets they want to keep (Ninkovich)?

Eh. Woodhead's a nice player and all but I don't really get why we're complaining about missing a guy who posted 3.0 YPC against a bad defense.

Woodhead averaged 4.8 yds rushing and 10.6 yds receiving. Yeah....why would we want that kind of production now that we have Blount's back up...Leon Washington. BB did save a million on the swap out...so we have that going for us...which is nice

The Pats also arguably had the best defense in football in 2003. The 2013 Broncos... not so much. Having no running game will hurt them.
