Dude. I was around for 2014, 2016 & 2018. I know it is. But I disagree that the D has to be « just average ». I’d say « it CAN work if the D is average ». But I think a vG D is worth a whole lot.

Usually the teams that get hot at the right time are the ones to win a SB.

Teams that start out 4-0 or 5-1 tend to not win the SB. Because they go off early and fizzle late.

Chiefs will win the SB this year.

We aren't going to stay still though.

I believe Veach will do whatever it takes to get us better on D.

You don't just sit around and risk a year being wasted when you've got a generational QB.

They may need to go 15-2 or 16-1 to get homefield which means they may have to go undefeated the rest of the way or only have one more loss. I said that the Rams could go anywhere from 13-4 and 15-2. You are assuming 13-4. I think it could be better than that.

They play a sloppy brand of football. Just like my Chiefs right now.

Too many receivers who drop passes. Too many slow starts or foot off the gas moments.

I'd take McVay any day over Arians.
