It is mind boggling to me that Tim Tebow could be a 1st round draft pick and that Richard Sherman could last to #154 in the 5th round (a year later, of course). Just mind boggling.

What about a guy that has Tim Tebow level intangibles/leadership/running ability but can actually throw a football, goes in the 3rd round past Tannehill, Weeden, and Brock Osweiler.

I wish I could see BBs big board for the 2012 QB class.

all the remaining teams look like they have the capability of holding their own, or laying an egg

for some reason, the noise level seems very high today, i have the same surround set up and same volume level, but i can barely hear al and collinsworth. i know its not scientific, but appears very loud to my ears

The 49ers, who had been averaging just over 14 PPG going into the Patriots' game and who gave up 3 points in 3 1/2 quarters, have now given up 59 points in the last 3 1/3 quarters. Aldon Smith has also been shut out in the last 6 quarters as far as sacks. Not having Justin Smith has a huge impact on their defense. Again, it makes you wonder how good their vaunted defense would be if they had dealt with the kind of injury situation which they Pats have dealt with all season.

He is appealing and allowed to play in the meantime. Dumb in my opinion since if he fails now he'll likely miss the entire post season. If he had just accepted it before he'd be back after Week 17

The hearing was on Friday. Sherman's claimed the sample was contaminated. No one expects the outcome to change, but the decision hasn't come down, so he's still free to play. The big question is whether he gets suspended for the playoffs.

49ers are getting pasted by the Seahawks who are getting hot at just the right time. I don't think they will be feeling so good about their defense just as the season is coming to a close.

Very reminiscent of the play when Arrington smacked Edwin Gates vs the Rats and both players were down.

Just like now, the Pats should have been allowed to recover the fumble, but that was during the "Spanksgiving Night Massacre", and maybe the refs felt sorry for the Rats.


I don't think Manningham is faking though, his knee buckled.
