Check the records my friend. Also the browns and lions have NEVER made a superbowl yet the Pats made TWO back then. Those season records and playoff appearances indicate middling franchise that couldnt string together consistent win seasons but also were never bad for long.

Now when they were bad, they were BAD because the point diffrencial of most of those losing seasons is abysmal.
