At least things are somewhat going in favor of the Pats so far this weekend in the other games. Ravens and Jets both losing who are currently ahead of the Pats in potential wild card spots. Ravens are the division leaders but could easily be passed by Cincinnati. Cincinnati has to play KC in a bit, if they lose to KC then Ravens, Jets and Cincinnati will potentially all be 7-5 which leaves the Pats only a game back at 6-6. If the Raiders can manage to beat the Chargers that'd also help to keep them behind the Pats.
Point is - you basically have KC, Buffalo and Miami who will likely have 8 or 9 wins after this weekend and then everyone else at 7-5 in the wild card picture, so the Pats would still be very much alive at 6-6 if they can get their crap figured out during their mini-bye and west coast trip.
