Ok, so, which is more likely:

a) Quarterbacks routinely play through broken thumbs, broken feet, and the various other ailments that Ben Roethlisberger has told the media he's had, and unlike other QB's, Roethlisberger refuses to go along with the team's desire to keep injuries hidden.

b) Ben Roethlisberger has an inhumanly high pain threshhold and is able to play through injuries that would send lesser men to the IR.

c) Ben Roethlisberger is a drama queen, and likes to play up his injuries so it's more impressive when he plays well, and he has an excuse when he doesn't.
