Yeah, we dont know if the judge is badgering NFL because it will lose everything in the ruling or because he doesnt want to rule for the NFL but has to if it comes to that so wants to avoid it. Too much crap has happened in this to judge what is going happen.

PA argued NFL had no standards for testing PSI & compared it to cop giving ticket for 1 mph over limit based on "1 Mississippi" count

Unless the Brady team is convinced that the judge is just beating on the NFL in order to make Goodell & Co. more reasonable, but would definitely side with the NFL if it came to a ruling, it would be incredibly stupid of Brady to take even a game.

That's not what we are arguing about. I am just saying in the case that Brady does accept a settlement, it's unfair to consider it an admission of guilt (if he only admits to obstruction of investigation). I never tried to postulate what Brady's lawyers' thoughts or strategy was.

I think it was in good faith and to show an effort to settle this, but the nfls way of stating they wanted to make this an 8 game suspension and won't budge makes me believe Brady should just hold for a ruling, because at the moment he seems to have the odds of good ruling for him in his favor.

ASSUMING Brady did make the offer to accept a game for non-cooperation, Berman performance today may have been taylored to sent him a message today that it was not necessary.

Nash called Brady and the NFLPA a “disappointed grievant” andadded that the “findings of the commissioner are entitled to deference.”

How can anyone not punch this guy hearing this repeatedly.?

What else is he supposed to say? He's being grilled by a Federal Judge. He's being paid big bucks to stand in the kitchen with the oven at 500 degrees and the door open.

He can't say, "You're right, your Honor, we kept Pash away today because we were worried that once Kessler had him under oath, you'd ask him questions we don't want him answering?"

But, Nash has to say what he's saying. Belichick would say he's just "doing his job." Think of Nash as the third backup QB who's put in the game when the offensive line has completely collapsed and somebody has to drop back and take the hits to try to keep the game respectable.

I wouldnt categorize it that way.

That's why the comparison to steroid suspensions is ridiculous. PED suspensions aren't handed out simply because "the dude looks way more jacked this year"

Did Judge Berman really use the term "grounds to vacate?" I'd like to hear from a litigator, but that sounds like a threat to me. Not that he is going to vacate because Pash is a no show but that that he's seriously considering vacating.

I know everyone loved Don Yee going on radio everywhere and ripping the NFL but I must admit, he couldve handled his advice differently. He said wells left out testimony and he has notes but never released it. They shouldve gotten NFLPA involved from the start.

Remember that the winner in Brady v. NFL must win twice: before Judge Berman and before US Court of Appeals for 2nd Circuit. Long way to go.

I am saying that's your personal opinion. I don't see it that way. I see it as legal maneuvering in a crappy situation (if that's the way it goes). People who believe Brady cheated will believe so no matter what the outcome is.
