Thanks for your OPINIONS. You are throwing around insults pretty heavily. Usually a sign of a losing argument. Have a good day.
Nothing in there is an insult. It’s what you have said.

If you were the Pats brain trust, would you trade your 2026 1st rounder for AJ Brown + PHI's 2026 3rd rounder?

Would you trade your 2026 2nd rounder for Jordan Addison, straight up?
I wouldn’t want Brown. Players they Ins to shoot their way off winning teams are a problem waiting to happen.

If Jordan Addison was available in the second round next year would we draft him? Of course we would. I’d do that in a second.

Why would the Vikings trade Addison? They're already preparing for life after Nailor, why wouldn't they try to move him instead of Addison?

It was man coverage on an all out blitz.

Yes You are making things up when you say maybe the other was equal but they just played him for stupid reasons.

Analyzing football with screen shots? Ugh
You do realize that for years still shots (all 22 view) is how NFL STAFFS analyzed plays in-game right? They generally use tablets now but this is a strange take.

It was not man coverage or an all out blitz, it was a zone coverage with a corner blitz, Dugger was responsible for the deep half.

Thats not making anything up, im merely suggesting a couple potential reasons I think Dugger could've gotten the nod.

You mean analyzing football with film lmao? Yes, that is what I am doing...

They didn’t use 2 still shots on a play to assess how a player played during that play.
They used them because that was all there was and it gave them a look at alignment and coverage drops.

Can we ban Andy from this thread? It has just turned into 10 pages of him arguing about how great Kyle Dugger is.
Such an odd hill to die on. Even if we stipulate that Dugger wasn’t absolutely awful in coverage (I can’t), he’s totally ignoring the economic impact that getting out of a terrible contract will have on future seasons. That was the driver.

He was left on an island with Olave.

Yes when you say maybe blah blah blah you are making things up.

You aren’t analyzing with film you posted 2 still shots. Film would show the entire play.

No, I analyzed the film and used the screen shots and a paragraph to illustrate my point because I dont feel like creating a video for you.

Once again, if a safety cant handle being asked to cover a deep zone then he is no good. If Davis never blitzed he likely would've been responsible for a different zone and Dugger still would've gotten burnt. Safeties are going to be responsible for making plays downfield one on one all the time, its not the same as being "left on an island" like you're framing it. He wasnt asked to line up on top of him and cover him wherever he goes 1 on 1 like a Revis, he was just responsible for covering him if he goes deep, which he failed to do.

We signed D'Ernest Johnson which I think maybe removes us from the RB trade market? Dont have much interest in offensive players at the deadline here anyways. Give me a safety or edge. (Maybe call Arizona about Budda Baker?)

2nd rounder yes as we have the history of always screwing those picks

I watched that play multiple times…Dugger didn’t even account for the possibility that Olave would run a go. He sat on what he expected to be a shorter route. In a vacuum, that’s “it happens”. But given they blitzed the corner, I am certain he wasn’t supposed to sit on a dig.

That’s not the okay you posted still shots of

Show me where I said Dugger was great.

If you want to censor discussion about whether a trade was good or bad why have a discussion board?

Right his #1 responsibility there is to not get beat deep, if Olave goes inside whatsoever his teammates are there. If he sits for a dig it’ll be a completion but that’s what they’re giving up by blitzing the corner, Dugger should’ve been making sure he doesn’t run deep on him.

If you want to continue talking about Dugger being good or not good, or worth trading or his trade value, at least go do it in the thread specifically about Dugger being traded. Let's try to re-focus this thread on its purpose.
