I think prior years are of little relevance but lets look at that game a little more closely. Flacco had a significant MCL sprain that made him a statue. He was a shadow of himself in that game. My recollection is that the Pats moved the ball well at the start of the game, then got absolutely stoned for most of the game, before some garbage time defensive tds late.
