4 for 18 for Anderson ($4.5m per) ??

You can have him..

Streater was one of those UDFA surprises in August his rookie year. The Raiders had a nationally televised game and he was the star. He went on to have two solid years with meh QB play then ended up on IR. His best trait is route running. Great fit.

THE SHEARD OF WRs! (BB Koolaid starting to infect me)

I haven't' seen 1 FA that has been worth it other than Forte and MAYBE Matthews

Tahir Whitehead back with Detroit.

Also, the lolphins are the gift that keeps giving cause either they or Denver will overpay for CJ. Denver either gets hit in the wallet or is down a starting caliber RB.

Great day in FA for the Pats!

I love situations like this. It's a win-win!

So, from what I can surmise, he played really well in his first two years in the league. Then in his third year, he had a ton of injuries that basically derailed his season. In his fourth year there was a coaching change, and the new crew drafted Amari Cooper in the first round and also signed Michael Crabtree, bumping Streater way down the depth chart. Andre Holmes was the third receiver. He still could've been the fourth receiver but I guess he wasn't fully healed yet and another receiver, Seth Roberts, took advantage and passed him on the depth chart. Since that made Streater the fifth receiver, he was a gameday inactive.
Inability to play himself past Holmes and Roberts seems concerning on its face, but I guess you could explain that away somewhat with him fighting back to full strength after missing a year and the coaching change. Could be a steal.

Mike Tannenbaum is my favorite non-Patriots GM of all time. Even better than Bobby Beathard at delivering the lulz

I love how every year Phins win FA..and every year they don't come close to the playoffs. I feel like sometimes i could run a NFL team and i am teh moron

Yeah, there's a bit of a reason for concern with that but it could be as simple as you said, too. Those reasons for concern could keep his price down, which is good. He has the physical tools and route-running ability to break out here. Absolutely could be a steal, but could bust, too.

I think a second TE would be a good pickup rather than two WRs. I'd be fine with Boldin or Kearse (or Hogan), assuming the price is right. That said, the market at TE is pretty bare. Vernon Davis, Jared Cook, and Jermaine Gresham aren't exactly a murderer's row.
Jermain Gresham was pretty good until this season.

Theres productive WR out there. People just want the big name.

Ive laughed at the contracts that have been signed til now. Shows you just how pathetic some teams are in this league. Namely the Dolphins and the Giants.

we should of kept lafell. he was gonna make what? 3m this season?? thats a bargain when you look at these other contracts being handed out.

absurd....everyone is overpaid!

Streater hasn't played in 2 years? What is his deal?

Injury in 2014..Fractured his foot... <----- BIG RED FLAG depending on the fracture. Could be that Streater lost some of his route running ability.

2015 - Jack Del Rio was the head coach.. That should tell you everything you need to know.
