NFL Free Agency 2022 edition

Deebo should easily get more than metcalf and aj right?
Should, yes, but it seems like the running plays are a point of contention. They greatly increase his value, but they also would seem to increase his chance of getting hurt. He was getting tackled by nose tackles on a handful of plays last season, which just isn’t normal for WRs. I’ll just assume none of them were as bad as Wilfork on Donald Jones, though.

Ah, memories - had to go and watch the video a dozen times after you mentioned it :)

possibly, but word on the street is JC Tretter is being blacklisted by teams because he’s the NFLPA President…
It’s bizarre that anybody feels the need to suggest this when it’s easy enough to just assume his knees are shot. Here’s how much he participated in every practice last season:

He's played in all games for the Browns since 2017...so any injury issues he's had it hasn't affected his ability to start. But there's a reason why he's still a free agent though. It could be because he's asking too much money (last year his AAV was $11 million) or that teams are afraid that he is going to help players file grievances with the PA

Bryan Cox Jr. just got cut by the Colts. The Pats should sign him. His dad’s hit on Jerome Pathon in 2001 was the unofficial start of the Patriots dynasty. Maybe Jr can start the Mac Jones dynasty.

The Julio Jones signing will make it difficult for the Bucs to both sign Tretter and keep the light on for Gronk.
Signing Julio and adding 4 void years is insane. Let's hope it pays off.

This is the definition of kicking the cap can down the road, borrowing from future cap to win now… when teams like Tampa do it to take advantage of an aging Brady they’re geniuses.

When the Patriots do it to take advantage of an aging Brady they “mismanaged the cap.”
